MacIntyre Taylor
Second Lieutenant, Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders
Macintyre Taylor left Fettes, aged 17, in 1914 and went to Sandhurst. He was
commissioned into the 1st Argylls, but was attached to the 3rd Battalion at the Front. He was wounded three times during his service.
He was a great-grandson of the renowned Gaelic poet, Duncan Ban Macintyre (1724-1812).
He was killed in October 1918, within three weeks of the Armistice.
