This successor to The Great Tapestry of Scotland has been stitched in the countries of the Scots Diaspora, in many of which it has also been exhibited, the Tapestry is coming home to Scotland. All 305 panels will be displayed.
The Scottish Diaspora Tapestry - Talk

Andrew Crummy will give a talk at Innerpeffray Library on the 19th July As the designer and person who drew out The Scottish Diaspora Tapestry the talk will explain the community arts process and those involved and the impact it has made. The artwork has over 300 panels and begins to tell the story from 30 countries of how Scots have travelled around the world and the impact they have made.
Andrew was born in Craigmillar Edinburgh studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art. He became an illustrator in London, developed into murals and public art, then produced Tapestries including the Great tapestry of Scotland.
